AI coaching for career and technical education, built from your program.
Give Nova 5 a CTE program of study, a registered apprenticeship work process schedule, an industry credential outline or your own course. In about 20 minutes it builds a program's worth of practice mapped to each competency, with a coach beside every activity on the student's phone, in English or Spanish. Your instructors approve what it builds. Your instructors and the credentialing body still decide.
- Mapped to program competencies and standards
- Practice in English and Spanish from one source
- Self-serve, monthly, no learner minimum
In plain terms
AI coaching for US community colleges, CTE programs, apprenticeship sponsors and employers.
Nova 5 is an AI coaching platform for vocational education from SupaHuman, built for Australia and New Zealand and now taking early partners in the United States. You upload a CTE program of study with its competencies or state standards, a registered apprenticeship's work process schedule and related instruction outline, an industry credential's content outline, or an internal course. Nova 5 builds learning and practice activities for every competency, maps each one back to it, and gives students a coach beside every activity in English or Spanish. It supports instruction and practice before any exam or evaluation. It is not an assessment, not a credential and does not make grading decisions.

A worked example
From a nursing assistant program to a week of practice.
Upload the program's competency checklist and the related instruction. Nova 5 reads the competencies and the skills, decides what is worth practising, and builds it. Here is the shape of what comes back for one competency on resident communication and rights.
Communicate with residents and uphold their rights
The program asks the student to adapt communication to a resident's needs, to recognise and report signs of abuse or neglect, and to respect dignity and privacy in care. Two things to know, one to do, one to be.
A role play, a scenario and a fault finder
A voice role play with a resident who is confused and refusing care, in English or Spanish. A branching scenario on what to report, to whom and when. A fault finder with a care record where the signs were missed. Each mapped back to the competency it practises.
Reviews, approves, assigns
The instructor sees the activities, edits anything that does not match state requirements or the facility, approves them, and assigns them for the week. The student does them on their phone between clinicals, with a coach that explains what they missed and why.
Before the skills evaluation
The same engine builds rehearsal for skills evaluations and oral or written exams, in the format the student will face, with the coach explaining the reasoning behind each answer. The state competency exam, the clinical evaluation and the credential stay exactly where they are: with the state, the program and the credentialing body.
Where it fits
Instruction and practice. Never the exam or the credential.
Practice between classes and clinicals
Role plays, scenarios and coached practice for each competency, assigned by the instructor week by week. Progress and time on task are tracked, so you can see who practised what and report on it.
Between related instruction sessions
Apprentices keep practising on their phone on the job, so related instruction builds on what they have already rehearsed rather than starting cold.
The line we hold
Nova 5 builds practice and coaching. It does not grade, does not record competence and does not issue credentials. Instructors grade; the state or credentialing body examines; the student's record is theirs.
Nova 5 builds practice in English and Spanish from one source program, so a bilingual cohort does not mean building twice.
Questions US programs ask
The things to know before we talk.
Yes. Upload the program of study, the state CTE standards, the apprenticeship work process schedule or the credential's content outline, and Nova 5 maps every activity it builds to a competency or standard. It works the same way with internal courses. Try it with a real program in the playground first.
No. Nova 5 builds practice and coaching, including exam-style preparation. Instructors grade, the state or the credentialing body examines and certifies, and apprenticeship sponsors sign off hours. Nova 5 makes no competence, grading or credentialing decision.
Yes. Practice is built from one source program in the student's language, so an English-language program can be practised in Spanish and the reverse. Tell us in the form if bilingual delivery matters for your program.
For FERPA-covered institutions we act as your service provider under your written agreement, with our Data Processing Addendum setting out what we do and do not do with student data; state student privacy laws are met the same way. Data is hosted on Amazon Web Services in Sydney, Australia. Learner data is never used to train models for anyone else. If you need US hosting or a state-specific agreement, tell us in the form and we will say honestly whether we can meet it yet.
The same as at home, converted: A$5 per learner a month (about US$3.30) with every practice type included, plus A$10 a month (about US$6.60) for each program or course Nova 5 builds and keeps current. Billed monthly through the app in Australian dollars; your card provider converts. Early partners in the US have no learner minimum.
In Australia and New Zealand, Nova 5 watches the national registers every month. In the US there is no single register to watch, so when a state standard, a credential outline or your program changes you upload the new version and Nova 5 rebuilds the affected practice through the same approval flow. Nothing changes without an instructor approving it.

We will reply within one business day. In the meantime, build something from a real program outline in the playground and bring it to the conversation.
